Ed Kowalczyk update

Late last month, Ed Kowalczyk of York announced on his blog that he chose a full backing band for his solo tour: Ramy Antoun, drums; Chris Heerlein, bass; Adam Kowalczyk, rhythm guitar and backing vocals; James Gabbie, lead guitar. The group plays Sweden’s the Dauwpop Festival May 13.
Ed Kowalczyk of Live performed on Atlanta’s Fox 5 Wednesday morning. He talked about his Open Wings-Broken Strings tour, which kicked off Oct. 22 in York. The performers will donate their guitar strings each night to wearourmusic.org where they will be turned into jewelry, sold on the site with all proceeds going to charity. Kowalczyk also gave an update on his new album and talked a little bit about the state of Live.
